In addition to the VisiCase Standard (link) option, our clients can choose an Automated Rostering module. The module is supported by an Optimisation engine that matches data held on the staff profiles with client profiles and the criteria stored on the job to be allocated. There are advanced availability of preferences settings, both on the client and staff profiles. As a result, a ranked list is presented to the users to manually allocate the jobs.
VisiCase can also autoallocate. In automated allocations, the system fully automates the generation of rosters by selecting the top ranked person, auto allocates them and then sends email/SMS message. The allocated person confirms in the system they can do the job. The system can repeat the process if confirmation is not received within x hours. Auto allocation will require the resources to accept the unit of work online. If resources do not accept the work within specified time than the next resource in the list is presented with the option to perform it. The acceptance can be done either online or via SMS VisiCase's advanced mechanisms for resource management is tightly integrated with the security layer.
The system also supports you in the manual setting up of rosters. The optimisation engine will still run in the background and come up in a set of the most suitable resources for a given task, however your staff has the final decision on whom to allocate
In addition the system will help you maintaining crisis or stand-by emergency rosters.
