Consumer Directed Care (CDC) is a new type of service delivery that will give people a greater say over the care they receive. Meeting the challenges of the new model is not easy, as care providers have to redesign their processes, change the way they breakdown and capture the costs, deal with much a larger pool of suppliers, implement new reporting requirements and educate their clients.

VisiCase Person Centred Service Delivery Module facilitates best person centred service practices. The module is empowered by funds tracking functions that allow efficient management of funds within the organisation. The module allows for any number of funding programs and funding program types.
The funds tracking functions include the following features:

  • Receipt of funds and creation of funding cycles
  • Setting of budgets with a limit for each client
  • Creation of service catalogues and costs for each funding program type
  • Automation of estimates on any activity that is done for the client
  • Once activity is completed, actuals are entered
  • Full funding reporting: at client level, funding type level and funding source level.
  • Generating invoices, payment slips, and statements.

VisiCase Person Centred Service Delivery Module also allows for a client's participation in the portal. Clients can see their plans, support team, availability, statements and they can raise a request in the workflow. A valuable feature is the facility for the clients to recording their thoughts and ideas. This is then used in the preparation of case plans and actions
